Our itineraries are original and imaginative, well-paced and carefully balanced. Our themed tours usually last 1-7 days. We use modern, comfortable, airconditioned van (8+1) on all our tours.

Warasdiensis tours are not pre-scheduled. They are a private, bespoke experience always arranged by request and depending on our availability. We specialize in small group travel (2-7 persons).

MULTI-DAY TOURS: A non-refundable deposit of 30% with a minimum charge of 300 € per person is required to secure reservation. Final payment (70%) must be received no later than 30 days prior to the tour date. Your booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been made. 

DAY TOURS: All day tour bookings should be paid in full at the point of booking and are non-refundable. Please note that in the unlikely event that we cancel the trip for any reason, we will repay all day tour fees in full.

Generally, the best time to book is as soon as you are committed to go. We prefer to have all multi-day tour bookings at least 30 days in advance, but we are able to take bookings later than that. Please inquire.

No, none of our tours include airfare.

The average group size is 5-8, and most of our tours require a minimum of 2 guests to run.

All hotels have been selected for their character, location and facilities. We have personally inspected the vast majority and we have stayed in most of them.

The hotels we use are mostly small/medium size, intimate properties full of local character. In general, accommodations (ranging from country inns to town center hotel) we use and recommend are rated as 4-star.

There is a choice of twin, double or single rooms. Free Wi-Fi, towels, a hairdryer, and a kettle are accessible at all of the hotels. In all hotels, the rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

We use modern, comfortable, airconditioned vans on all our tours (maximum number of passengers: 8, double air conditioning, 2100 L boot capacity).

Day trips always include a pick-up and it is always included in the price.

Multi-day trips do not include a pick-up, and they always begin at a scheduled departure point.

Yes, in most cases we can arrange additional accommodation at our starting or ending hotels. Please contact us for price information. If we are unable to provide you with the extra nights we will give you the name of a hotel you can contact directly.

Hotel/accommodation names and contact are listed in the Final PDF document that will be sent to you by e-mail 30 days before the trip.

The amount of driving each day varies. We try to keep driving distances down to a minimum. The longest travel time without a break would be between an hour and an hour and a half. The average is around 150-200 km per day (3-4 hours) on our multi-day tours.

Breakfast is included at the hotel/guesthouse restaurant during the tour. Meals (lunch and dinner) and beverages are not included on your tour.

Your professional, licensed tour guides will always create a connection between you and the destination. They always try to delve deeper into a given destination, ensuring visitors can experience it as authentically as possible.

We strive to cover not only the ‘must see’ sites but also to provide a carefully curated selection of less well-known but equally rewarding experiences on every tour.

Each tour has its own specific guidelines, but generally your payment will always include the following:

  • Accommodations
  • Breakfast each day except the arrival day
  • Transportation between towns and attractions in our van
  • English speaking professional tour guide

We specialize in small group travel (4-8 persons). Our exclusive group size sets the highest standards in personal service and attention.

We would be happy to work with you on any additions of tours, services or tour participants.

Tipping is always appreciated, though not obligatory. Warasdiensis Travel clients generally tip anywhere from 5% to 15% of the purchase price, depending on the duration and quality of the experience. Our price does not include tips.

For tours that require venue tickets, Warasdiensis requires that all tickets be purchased through us directly and will automatically be included in your tour costs. Tickets are always non-refundable in the event of a cancellation and cannot be transferred to another date and time in the event of a requested tour reschedule.

Generally speaking, unless the weather is exceptionally severe, our Warasdiensis Tours depart whatever the weather. In the event of extreme weather or dangerous weather conditions, Warasdiensis may make the decision to cancel or reschedule tours. In these events, we will contact you as soon as possible with updates and options.

The organizer has the right to cancel the tour in case of circumstances that cannot be avoided or if the minimum number of travelers for a specific trip has not been reached.

The organizer is obliged to inform all travelers about the cancellation at least 2 days prior to the tour for day trips and at least 7 days prior to the tour for multi-day tours.

In the unlikely case of cancellation by the organizer, the organizer is obliged to return all deposits and payments to the traveler.

DAY TOURS: All day tour bookings should be paid in full at the point of booking and are non-refundable. Please note that in the unlikely event that we cancel the trip for any reason, we will repay all day tour fees in full.

MULTI-DAY TOURS: If you decided to cancel your trip for any reason, your trip deposit is non-refundable. Refunds will be made for the remainder of your tour fee according to the following schedule:

  • Full – 1 month or more before trip’s start
  • 50% – 2 weeks or more before trip’s start
  • 25% – 5 days or more before trip’s start
  • 0% – less than 5 days before trip’s start

All cancellations must be received in writing. Deposit is non-refundable. If you do cancel, Warasdiensis cannot be held responsible for losses you may incur with third parties, such as airlines or hotels. We recommend booking your flight only once your tour is 100% guaranteed. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.
